I can't begin to describe the sorrow I feel for those who have lost loved ones in the Costa Concordia disaster last week. If you don't know much about it, you can read this thread. I'm praying for all those affected, especially for the families who are awaiting news of their still missing loved ones. The fact that the entire event was avoidable multiplies all of our pain, confusion, and anger regarding the accident.

Mr. Servel, you showed us what love does. I'm sure you didn't even think about yourself when you decided to give your wife your life jacket. Millions of us have been moved when hearing of your heroism, and we pray for your beloved wife and family. I just wanted to take a minute to recognize an honorable man who gave his life to protect and care for his wife. I salute you.
